Our New Offices

Moving into Dock in late 2013 was our way of celebrating a very successful partnership between infrastructure and software development, as we acquired a Leicester-based start-up that specialised in web applications and software development.

By consolidating skills and specialising in the PHP Symfony2 framework, we have been building rock-solid enterprise web applications for our clients.

We sought to build on this by taking on more software developers, to enable us to maximise our workload. Our offices, as great as they are, just weren’t suited for our plans of growth. We started discussions with Dock about moving into one of their larger suites, and luckily for us one of their premier suites had become available. Bright, airy, in the trees and over-looking the river. It was perfect, and we snapped it up.

At the same time, we secured funding from the European Regional Development Fund and Leicester’s ‘launchpad’ scheme for some new equipment, in exchange for building jobs in the city. We are based in Leicester, and are committed to further-developing our Symfony-based web applications in the heart of the Midlands.

We are very happy with our new offices and to be located in Leicester. To celebrate, we had a montage of Leicestershire landmarks created, and it now hangs proudly on the walls of our office. It reminds us of all of the fantastic things that have come out of Leicestershire, and we are hoping to one day be among them.

Leicester is also a great destination for visiting developers who want to take part in our workshops.
